  Obituary: The death of Erma Joyce Cheney of Gordonsville occurred on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born July 6, 1940 in Glassville she was the daughter of the late Lee and Ellen (Cammack) McBrine. She was also predeceased by her husband, Paul; 1 son, Brain; great grandson, Jacob; 3 siblings, Gaynell Henley (Ralph), Earl and Gerald McBrine; 1 niece, Sophia Mongrain; 1 nephew, Darrell Henley; brother in law, Walter Rowley. Erma is survived by her 6 children, Robert Cheney (Marsha), Nancy Bloodsworth (Elihu), Sheldon Cheney, Wanda Lunn (Stephen), Ernest Cheney (Alice) and Warren Cheney (Sandra); 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 siblings, Betty Ann Rowley, Janice Harrington (Evans), Francis McBrine (Monica) and Stewart McBrine (Tammy); sister in law Cynthia McBrine; special friend, Ercell Clark and his son, Richard Clark (Michell) and their children as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5-9 pm. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Glassville United Cemetery.
