  Obituary: Ernest R. Ward 1931-2011 The death of Ernest Russell Ward of Glassville occurred on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at his home. Born in Glassville on March 22, 1931 he was the son of the late Herbert and Annie (Cammack) Ward and husband of the late Shirley Ward. Ernest is survived by 2 daughters, Stella Ward (Ron Johnston) and Nancy Ward (Cliff); 5 grandchildren, Trish and Peter Johnston, Lee, Cody and Chelsie MacArthur; 1 great grand daughter, Shawna Atkinson; 3 sisters, Gladys Sherwood, Jennie Tucker and Hazel Giberson and many extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Shirley, infant son, Cecil, 6 siblings, George, Edward, Robert, Malcolm, James, Cecil and Margaret. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville - Bristol on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 4:30 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery at a later date.
