Notes - Obituary:
The death of Ransford Charles "Junior" Giberson of Gordonsville occurred on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 7, 1941 in Fielding, NB he was the son of the late Ransford and Verna (Kinney) Giberson. He was also predeceased by his wife, Marie; 1 son, Lynden; 1 sister Violet; 3 brothers. Henry, Ralph and Thomas.
Junior owned and operated a small sawmill for many years in Gordonsville. He was also very mechanically inclined and could build and repair just about anything that had 4 wheels and an engine.
Junior is survived by his 5 children, Rockey Giberson (Jennifer), Bruce Giberson, Virginia Tompkins (Peter), Quentin Giberson and Victoria Gowans (Jason); 12 grandchildren, Stephen, Brandon, Austin, Brodey, Nicholas, Georgia, Natalie, Eric, Donovan, Kishawna, Abigail and Madison; 6 great grandsons, Declan, Maverick, Jaxon, Zander, Tay and Oliver; 2 sisters, Mary Wood and Marguerite Bowran; 1 brother, Randy Giberson (Kathy) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville - Bristol, on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Brian Murray will officiate. The interment will be held in the Bristol Free Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
