    • Death Notice:

      "New Brunswick Courier", 19 Jul 1834:
      Accident! 27th [June 1834], William Giberson of Parish of Kent was felling a tree. It struck one that had been lodged against another and broke it away. Both fell together and struck John Giberson, father of William, a severe blow on the head, so as to cause his death at age 46 [or 45].

      Notes;

      Lydia Orser was born in about 1795 and was daughter of William Orser and his first wife Mary Craig. She married John Giberson, son of John and Elizabeth (Brown) Giberson 23 March 1811 in Wakefield (then in York County), New Brunswick. The record of this marriage is included in the Minutes of the York County General Session:
      Index to marriages previous to the year 1817 - page numbers refer to the minute book of the Court of General Sessions.
