- Obituary:
The death of Mary “Mamie” Isobell MacDonald of Knoxford occurred on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the Carleton Manor, Woodstock. Born May 8, 1934 in Kenneth she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Seymour) Quinn. She was also predeceased by her husband, Fred; 1 daughter, Shelly; 1 great grandson, Hunter and 1 sister, Lily.
Mary is survived by her 4 children, Daniel MacDonald (Twyla Sarchfield), Jimmy MacDonald (Sheila), Lily Crandlemire and Bonny MacDonald (Bob Shaw); 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 siblings, Sadie White and Donnie Quinn (Susan) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Michael Palmer will officiate. The interment will be in the Lower Knoxford Cemetery at a later date.
