HELEN MURIEL 'NAN' LEVESQUE FORT FAIRFIELD - Helen Muriel Levesque, 79, wife of the late Leonard L. Levesque, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at a Presque Isle healthcare facility, following a brief illness. She was born Dec. 29, 1924, at Bristol, New Brunswick, the daughter of George W. and Francis C. (Rideout) Delong. She attended Glassville, New Brunswick schools, and was married to Leonard L. Levesque in May of 1943. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She possessed a special love for Christmas and her doll collection. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband on Jan. 24, 1964; and one sister, Norma Brown. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Roger Jones of Caribou, Shelba and Larry Pierce of Fort Fairfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Rita Levesque; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Monica Delong of Juniper, New Brunswick, Ripley and Wanda Delong of Glassville, New Brunswick, Ronald and Mary Delong of Kitchner, Ontario, Bud Delong of Woodstock, New Brunswick; four sisters, Marilyn Argraves and her husband, Robert, of Fort Fairfield, Maxine Dyer of Gordonsville, New Brunswick, Marie Robinson of Glassville, New Brunswick, Darlene Shaw of Rosedale, New Brunswick; seven grandchildren, Jeff Jones of Fort Fairfield, Heidi Jones of Caribou, Kelley Pierce of Caribou, Shane Pierce of Fort Fairfield, Jami Pierce of Presque Isle, Ryan Oneal of Port Charlotte, Fla., Keegan Oneal of Fort Fairfield; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Jones, Karley and Lauren Pierce, all of Caribou; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Juanita Savage, Pauline Dorsey, Phyllis Barnes, Debra Dorsey and Linda Scnechal, all of Fort Fairfield, Deann Titus and Anita Davenport, both of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Dorsey Funeral Home, 144 Main St., Fort Fairfield. Friends may also call 12-1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, where a funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Diane Langworthy officiating. Interment will take place at the Riverside Cemetery, Fort Fairfield, later in the spring. A time of fellowship with refreshments will be held at the VFW Paul Lockhart Post No. 6187, Presque Isle Street, Fort Fairfield, immediately following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, those who choose may contribute in memory of Mrs. Levesque to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, One main St., Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. .
