Chester Chase Dies In Hospital
The death occurred in the Victoria Public Hospital on Tuesday of Chester A. Chase, of 721 Forest Hill. He was 55. Born in Grafton, Mr. Chase has been in hospital three months prior to his death. He was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and was last employed as a member of the Corps of Commissionaires. He is survived by his wife, Vita; two daughters, Mrs. Glenwood (Donna) Blizzard of Fredericton; Mrs. Carl (Ethel) Young at home; three stepsons, Richard Graham of British Columbia; Waldon and Robert Graham of Hartford. Conn.; his mother, Mrs. Wallace Chase; of Alberta; three brothers, Leonard and Larry of Alberta; Elwood in Woodstock; two sisters, Mrs. Pete (Anna) Rupert; and Mrs. Velma Porter, both of Alberta; 15 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at the Bishops Funeral Home where funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Arnold Stairs officiating.
