Florence E. Anderson 1918-2010
The death of Florence Elizabeth Anderson of Glassville occurred on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the River View Manor, Bath NB.
Born September 13, 1918 in Foreston, NB she was the daughter of the late Charles and Geneva (Burlock) Crabbe and wife of the late Alex Anderson.
Florence is survived by her 3 children, Dr. Linda Anderson (Andre) of Quebec City, PQ, Roberta Hoyt (Gary) of Gordonsville and Calvin Anderson (Joycelyn) of East Glassville; 10 grandchildren, Terri Dixon, Kevin Hoyt, Julie Kidd, Jill Hatfield, Suzanne Galipeau, Jennifer Hoyt-Veinot, Elizabeth Denham, Dorothy Anderson, Robert Anderson and Sarah Anderson; 13 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Marguerite Scott of Woodstock and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Alex, 8 brothers, Victor, Wendall, John, Winston, Harold, Blair, Cecil and Malcolm and 1 sister, Virginia.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Mary Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery.
