Notes - Obituary:
Wendell Gray Crabbe, 90, of Glassville, NB passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008. Wendell was born in Lansdowne, NB on March 29, 1917, son of the late Charles and Geneva (Burlock) Crabbe.
Wendell is survived by his daughter, Wendy Crabbe, Woodstock, NB, grandchildren; Miranda Sarchfield, Toronto, Ontario, Kara Sarchfield (Jason McDougall), Woodstock, NB, great grandson, Jacob McDougall, sisters; Florence Anderson, Marguerite Scott, brother, Malcolm Crabbe, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Wendell was predeceased by his wife Frances (McBrine), son, Charles Crabbe, brothers; Victor, John, Harold, Blair, Cecil, Winston and a sister, Virginia.
There will be a Prayer Service at 7 PM followed by visitation until 9 PM at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Thursday, March 13, 2008. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Red Cross or to a Memorial of the Donor’s Choice.
