Notes - Obituary:
The passing of Jack LeRoy Wasson of Fredericton, NB, husband of Beatrice Wasson, occurred on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 4, 1928 in Armond, NB, he was the son of the late Walter and Bessie (Avery) Wasson. He was a shift boss at Lead and Zinc Cominco.
In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his daughters, Christine (Michael), Donna (Grant) and Brenda (Dick); step daughter, Carol; five grandchildren, Shannon, Jonathan, Samantha, Amanda and Gavin; several great grandchildren; bother in law, Jim (Myrna); several nephews. Jack is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Verna and brothers, Elery and Arthur.
There will be no services by request. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. The arrangements are entrusted to York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
