      Clarence Oscar White
      1921-2010
      The death of Clarence Oscar White of Glassville occurred at the River View Manor on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the age of 88. Born on May 12, 1921 in Divide he was the son of the late Edward and Lily (Quinn) White.

      Clarence is survived by his wife of 63 years, Florence, three children, Peter White (Heather), Brenda Giberson (Dale) and Marsha Cheney (Robert), seven grandchildren, Heidi Holmes (Ralph), Tracy White (Brick Billing), Jackson White, Rebecca Budrow (Chris), Natalie Lyon (Karl), Penny Giberson (Justin Tompkins), Lindsay Giberson (Rodney Boyd), five great grandchildren, Taylor and Ryele Boyd, Abigail Holmes, Owen and Patrick Budrow, one brother, John White (Donna), two sisters, Isabel Rochon and Avis Stoddard (Allison) and many nieces and nephews.

      He was predeceased by his parents, infant son, Stephen, four brothers, Henry, Austin, Fred and Zemro, four sisters, Edna, Georgina, Nellie and Anna.

      Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Monday, January 11, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rick Murray officiating. Interment will be in the Glassville United Cemetery at a later date.
