  Obituary: DeMERCHANT, ARTHUR JOHN - At Northern Carleton Hospital Bath on January 19, 2005, Arthur John DeMerchant of Florenceville passed away after a short illness at the age of 81. Arthur is survived by his loving wife Marie, daughters, Sandra Klein and Susan Lee, son, Stephen Snodgrass, granddaughters, Stephanie Klein and Jessica Denning, sisters, Dorothy Pagan and Jean Medbury. Visitation at Kilcollins Chapel Florenceville on Friday January 21, 2005, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. There will be no funeral service, a graveside memorial service will be held in the spring. There will be a Legion memorial Friday afternoon at 1:45 PM at the Florenceville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the River View Manor Bath.
