Notes - Obituary:
Clark, Dorothy (Margison) December 25, 1910-June 4, 2010: It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Clark announces her passing at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock. Dorothy was born in East Florenceville, daughter of the late Anson and Annie(Lee) Margison. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Clinton (1981), and sisters Margaret Butland (1982) and Marion White (2010). Dorothy leaves to mourn her son, Michael (Shirley) of Woodstock, and her daughter Patricia (Marc) Samson of Espanola, ON, her grandchildren Justin(Paula Ann) Samson of Perry Sound, ON and Joanna Samson of Pembroke, ON, as well as her nieces and nephews. Dorothy attended Business College in Saint John and worked for several years as Dr. Wishart’s medical receptionist followed by secretary work for Natural Resources. She was a founding member of the IODE, being the first president of the Nelson P. Grant Chapter. Dorothy was a member of the Art Club, Bridge Club, and the ACW. Her fascination with the world around her, her love for her dear cat and her deep appreciation for nature, particularly flowers and plants, influenced her life and paintings. Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB, with visiting on Monday evening, June 7, from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be Tuesday June 8, 2010, at 11 am from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with the Venerable Walter Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Christ Church Cemetery, Lower Woodstock. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Carleton County Animal Shelter, CNIB, or to a memorial of the donors ‘choice. www.carletonfuneralhome.ca
