    • Obituary:

REELEDER, RONALD ARTHUR - August 23, 1915 - November 30, 2008 - At the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville on Sunday, November 30, 2008 Ronald Arthur Reeleder of Greenfield passed away at the age of 93. Born in West Glassville he was the son of the late George and Sarah (Delong) Reeleder and husband of the late Elizabeth (Cox) Anderson Reeleder. Ronald was the eldest son in a family of 13, Ronald knew how to work hard. The loss of his leg in a farming accident at the age of 20 did not weaken his work ethic. His family moved to the Greenfield area in 1950 where he continued to farm with his brother Clarence. In his 30's, Ronald contracted TB. The doctor sent him home with the news that he would never work again, though in constant pain, kept on farming. He eventually became Road Commissioner, a position he held until retirement in 1980. Ronald did not know how to retire and so at the ages of 79, 80 and 81 he single - handedly cut 3 transport trailer loads of logs. Ronald and his wife, Mary attended the Florenceville Baptist Church for many years. Ronald is survived by three step children, Louise Page (Raymond), Dianne Trafford (Richard) and Robert "Bob" Anderson (Shirley), three sisters, Bernice Jones, Wilnora Gagnon and Betty Oakes, two brothers, Delmar (Audrey) and Lorne (Wanda), nine step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that loved him very much. He was predeceased by five brothers, Aubrey, Lewis, Adrian, Floyd and Clarence, 2 sisters, Glenna Cook and Margaret Day. Visitation will be held at the Florenceville Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm from the church. Rev.
