    • Obituary:
      It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Jardine husband of Fabiola (Bodgie) Ryan Jardine on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the age of 81.
      Bill is survived by his eight children: Darryl (Brenda) Nackawic, Sandy (Barbara), Strathadam , Jane Green (late Don) Riverview, Boodie Tozer, Miramichi, Jim, Halifax, Norah Jardine, Toronto, Jennifer Cleghorn (Terry), Miramichi, Lisa Jardine (Don Budden), Cole Harbour, 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brother Bev, Halifax ,sister Joanne Tozer of Sillikers and numerous nieces and nephews.
      Bill was predeceased by his parents Claude and Frances (Maltby) Jardine, brother John and son-in-law Don Green.
      Bill started working during the construction of Fraser Pulp & Paper and continued on as stationery engineer where he retired from Repap after 42 years of service. Bill was a member of the K-40 and past member of Newcastle Kinsmen Club.
      Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home on Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 2 PM from the Sterling Bell Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Fraser officiating. Burial will take place in the Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring.
      In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Extra Mural Program.
