    • Obituary:

      Fort Fairfield- Lester L. Parady, 85, returned to his heavenly home on November 23, 2019 at home surrounded by family. Lester was born in Fort Fairfield on June 1, 1934, the son of Percy and June (Dougherty) Parady.. He attended Fort Fairfield High School. He worked as an auto mechanic for Michaud’s garage before becoming self-employed.
      Lester had many interests including hunting, fishing and spending time in his garden. He was always known for his love of animals, but had a special place in his heart for German Shepards. He could always be spotted on one of his many country-side journeys while listening to country music. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids.
      Lester is survived by his sons: Paul Parady and his wife Ann, Rick Parady, his daughters Ruth Benicek and her husband John, Carla Finely and her husband Keith, Tammy Parady, Leslie Henderson and her husband Allen, his brothers Richard Parady, David Parady, Carol Parady, Gerald Parady, Delbert Parady, James Parady, his sisters Joyce (Parady) Thibodeau, Patricia (Parady) Kennedy, Carlene (Parady) Linder, 14 grandkids, 9 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Martha (Leith) Parady, his daughter Terry (Parady) Thompson, his parents Percy and June Parady, his brother Percy Parady Jr., his brother Ronald Parady.
      Calling hours will take place on Saturday November 30th 2019 at the Mockler Funeral Home i24 Reservoir Street Caribou from 12-2pm followed directly with funeral services.
      There will be a gathering at the VFW in Fort Fairfield at 5pm .
