Notes - Obituary:
Alice E. Brown
1934-2021
It is with sadness that the family of Alice Brown announce her passing. Alice passed away April 10, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born April 5, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Horace (Gib) and Phoebe Brown. She was predeceased by her brothers Donald Brown of Bristol, New Brunswick and Winston Leavitt of Kingston, Ontario.
Alice is survived by her nieces and nephews and their families.
Alice spent her career at McCain Foods and after retirement had the busiest social calendar of anyone in the Village of Bristol. She loved her friends and family unconditionally.
Alice's family are very thankful for the wonderful care provided to her by Kim Brown over the past number of months. Kim's love and care made Alice's days much brighter. The care and attention provided by the Teams at Extra Mural and Integrity Homecare was also very much appreciated.
A private family graveside service will be held in the Glassville United Church Cemetery. Rev. Shirley Noseworthy will officiate. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements. www.gibersonfuneraldirectors.ca (506) 392-1115
