- JUNE ELIZABETH BOYER
A service celebrating the life of June Elizabeth Boyer (nee Wallace) was held at the Cloverdale Union Church on Wednesday, August 5th, 1998 at 2 p.m. The pallbearers were David Jones, Clair, Greg and Brent Wallace; Dale Rockwell and Mark Polchies.
June passed away at home on August 3rd at the age of 63, surrounded by the family she loved.
She was predeceased by two sons, Kimm 1962, and Michael in 1978 and her husband John in 1994. June leaves behind memories and her parents Alfred (Ted) and Reta Wallace of Carlisle; brother Earl and his wile Vivian of Fredericton; a daughter Connie of Saint John; sons, Earl David and his wife Vickie of Prince George, B.C.; Jeffery of Cloverdale, James and his wife Lesley of Oromocto; Orland Foster and his wife Mary of Cloverdale; grandchildren Wesley, Nathan, Kenny, Thurzia, John Robert, Barbara, Samantha, Michael, Annissa, Rebecca, Joey and Katie; great-grandchild Dustin; sisters-in-law Peggy Mean (Hilton), Mary Rockwell (Arnold), Carol Polchies (Wally), Dorothy Boyer, Alberta McLean (George) and their families.
June was active in the Union Ladies Aid, the Guimac Seniors and her church. She was an avid quilter and loved to read. In the last few years she tried her hand at painting. June loved flowers and her garden showed this love. June has left a legacy of love, faith in God and the endless hope of Heaven to her many friends and family. She is missed, but in her own words left to her family "Do not grieve too much. I am absent from my body, but present with the Lord. I have had a good life and I love you all very much."
