Notes - Obituary:
Jennie E. Bishop, 85, of Presque Isle, Maine died January 19, 1979 at a local hospital. She was born Jan. 1, 1894 at Glassville, N.B. Canada, the daughter of James and Etta(Bell) Lovely.
She married Everett Bishop on Jan. 2, 1918 at Woodstock, N.B. Her husband died July 30, 1978. Mrs. Bishop was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
She is survived by three sons, Dana H. Bishop of Presque Isle; Neil E. Bishop of Bangor and Vaughn E. Bishop of Thermal, California; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 21 at Graves Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Davis officiated. Burial will be in Green Ridge Cemetery at Caribou in the spring.
