MCBRINE, ANNIE M.(LOVELY)
General sorrow was felt at the passing of Mrs. Fred R. McBrine of Glassville which occured at her home on Sunday morning June 1, 1952 following a period of ill health. Mrs. McBrine was formerly Miss Annie M. Lovely, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Lovely. She was born June 7, 1901 at Glassville and had lived all her life there. Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Whitehouse, Glassville and Marion at home; her father and mother, Mr.& Mrs., James Lovely of Glassville; one grandson Robert Whitehouse; one sister, Mrs. Everett Bishop, Presque Isle, Me; ,three brothers, Norris of New York , William of Intervale, Me. And Arlie at home. Another sister, Mrs. Floyd Bishop predeceased her several years ago. The funeral which was largely attended, was held in the United Church of Canada on Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. H.B. O\'92Brien, assisted by Rev. Hollis Kimball at the prayer service in the home. Music was rendered by a quartet of Mrs. Weldon Flemming, Miss Gretchen Patrick, Wallace Matheson, and L.E. Britton, with Mrs. William McIntosh as organist. The selections chosen were "God Will Take Care of You," Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "Sweetly Resting." Pallbearers were Morrill and Harold Robinson, Thomas and Claude Corey, James Miller and James Hovey. Floral remembrances were many and beautiful. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
