Notes Obituary:Cora Olmstead1925-2025The death of Cora Olmstead of Sarasota, Florida occurred on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Heron House Assisted Living Facility, Sarasota, Florida at the age of 99 years. Cora was born October 4, 1925, in Armond, NB and was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Adams) Wasson. Cora was also predeceased by her husband Edward Olmstead; 1 sister, Lillian Stickney; 5 brothers, Roy, George, Lorne, Percy and James Wasson.Cora is survived by her beloved and devoted son, Norman Olmstead and daughter in law, Sharon Patterson as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family that loved her very much.Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm from the chapel. Rev. Joseph Hopkins will officiate. The interment will be in the Windsor Cemetery.
