She was born at Divide, Carleton County, New Brunswick on June 19, 1918. Daughter of the late Edward & Ferne (Lovely) Wiley. She is survived by eleven children: Robert (Charlene) Hallett; Darlene Stapleton; Lorne (Gail ) Hallett; Bernetta (Harold) Cox; Ronald (Barbara) Hallett; Connie (Matthew) Caldwell; Lydia (Ed) Bridgeo; Sterling (Wanda) Hallett; Bonnie (Hazen) Hunter; Cindy (Paul) Walton; Natalie (Blaine) Bustard; 31 Grand Children; 48 Great Grand Children; 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Brother, Wallace (Marina) and Sister Kathleen (Malcolm) Hunter. Nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Deane Hallett (1989); Grandson Floyd Hallett; Son-in-law, William (Bill) Stapleton; Great Granddaughter, Marissa Gordon. Brothers and Sisters; Mabel Wiley, Dorothy Bull, Donald Wiley, Isabel Lamont. Resting at The Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland, New Brunswick Public Visitation on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Jean M. Hallett will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. from The Hartland Wesleyan Church, 115 Somerville Road, Somerville, NB with Rev. Mel Norton officiating. Interment to follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland, NB If so desired donations can be made to the Canadian Red Cross or the Canadian Cancer Society.
