- Obituary:
The death of Maxine Patience Beckwith of Centreville occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born in Tracey Mills, May 10, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Vernet and Faye (Haines) Tracey and wife of the late Donald Beckwith. She was also predeceased by 3 brothers, Vernon, Malcolm and Trueman; 2 sisters, Catherine and Betty.
Maxine is survived by her 3 sons, Rex Beckwith, Ross Beckwith (Giselle) and Reid Beckwith; 6 grandchildren, David, Ashley, Susan, Mike, Holly and Nancy; 3 great grandchildren, Lorne, Logan and Ava; 2 sisters, Leloa Boyer (Gerald) and Claudine Thomas and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Mr. Ray Andersen and Rev. Steven Teed will officiate.
