Notes - GREEN, MAUDE MAY 88, of Grand Manan, passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Monday September 6th, widow of the late Sheldon (Snooks) Green. Born in West Glassville, NB, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Agnes Laing. Mrs. Green is survived by her three daughters, Natalie Forsyth, Bonnie (Carmen) Cook, and Trudy (Neil) Morse, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as four step daughters, Mollie (Dick) Shelton, Hazel Zwicker, Jeanne Ingalls, and Dorothy (Joe) Perron, and families, three sisters, Jennie Giberson, Barbara Tompkins, Norma Tompkins, and two brothers, Frank and Rod Laing. She was predeceased by her husband, one son Jac, step children Marilyn Frost and Erling Green, sister Alice Nickerson, and three brothers, Jack, Doug and Gordon. The family will receive friends and relatives at Ells Funeral Home on Wednesday evening 7-9 pm, from where the funeral service will be held Thursday September 9th, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Walker officiating, interment to follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Castalia, NB. Funeral arrangements in care of ELLS FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Route #776, Grand Manan, NB. E5G 1G2
