807 | Obituary: Donald A. Wolverton 1970-2023 Donald Allan Wolverton III, now the brightest light in our skies, as on Saturday, May 6, 2023 the world lost one of the good ones; the best father, husband, son, brother, family man and friend we could ever know, full of integrity and kindness. Donald was home surrounded and loved by the strength of his Team Wolverton until Friday, in Lower Knoxford. He took his final rest at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Perth-Andover, NB. A man with great values placed in heritage and legacy. The first son of Donald Thomas Wolverton II and Carol Wolverton. Born January 26th, 1970 in Burlington ON. Donald grew up in Carleton County, learning the love of the land & nature, from his elders. He would learn to hunt, fish, garden and farm not just the land but also the water, as he and his father developed not one but two trout farms in Carleton and Victoria Counties and played active roles in the NB Trout Farmer's Association. Donald's post secondary studies were all for the focus of his and his father's business. Donald studied Aquaculture at NBCC St Andrews and later, as a young mature student, pursued a Business Degree from UNB. Making meaningful friendships in those times, that continue to support his family now. Donald traveled to Fredericton to meet his future wife Lisa Christie-Wolverton on an August 2002 afternoon, engaged May 2003 and married June 19, 2004. They quickly fell in love and committed to each other to develop a lifetime of memories. In a short time, they produced 4 of the greatest testimonies to the man Donald is, their own personal sunshines: Donald IV "DJ", Olivia, Abigail and Kaitlyn. With joy and gratitude, they raise their children in the greater community of Centreville. Donald strove to give back to his community, volunteering at various events, sitting on committees and supporting his wife to play a similar role. Through all these actions, they learned to know and love the 'village' that helped raise their children and provided indescribable support the last few years. As the era of Trout farming changed for him and his father, Donald focused on a new career of almost 20 years and became a successful production planner for McCain Foods Canada, working with multiple plants across the country. His co-workers quickly became part of our growing family and ultimately a rock in most recent years. Donald enjoyed travelling and new adventures, which he absolutely wanted to share with his family. As some may know, Donald had a unique hobby of entering contests. He became quite savvy and dedicated and was able to share with his family vacations, appliances, a set of power tools for both he and his father, witnessing the first gold medal won by Canada on Canadian soil at the 2010 Winter Olympics, a visit from a New England Patriot's Player to the community, meeting Keith Urban, really some of the most intriguing prizes you might not expect but all in the goal of improving his family's life. Almost absolutely all aspects of his life, became identified by his role as a father. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Christie-Wolverton; their four children Donald IV "DJ", Olivia, Abigail and Kaitlyn; his mother, Carol Wolverton; one brother and two sisters, 5 nephews and 1 niece, several aunts and uncles and cousins, and Lisa's family, as well. Donald is sadly predeceased by his father, Donald T Wolverton, and his uncle, David Wolverton. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB on Friday May 12, 2023 from 5 to 8pm. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 4:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The funeral will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the L.R. Giberson Funeral Director’s Facebook page. Interment will be in the Tracey Mills Cemetery. A reception to follow, provided by the River Valley 4-H Club at the Western Valley Multiplex, Centreville NB. For those who wish, memorial donations could be made to the wonderful River Valley Cancer Support Group, the Centreville Proud Fund, or so near & dear to our hearts and Donald's values, the River Valley 4H Club. Most of all, be inspired by Donald's humble dedication to making the world a better place by little acts, reach out to your community, the youth or the elderly, all groups in between, offer your time, your smile, take each opportunity to leave where you are a better place. https://www.gibersonfuneraldirectors.ca/obituaries/170181/ | WOLVERTON, Donald Allan (I17765)

Mom spent her life immersed in the joys of quilting, knitting, tole-painting, and cooking. Her passion for these creative pursuits was evident in every stitch, brushstroke, and dish she made, infusing each with a unique blend of love and skill. Mom made quilts into timeless treasures with countless stories tied to them. They always served as a symbol for the love she had for her family, and her boundless creativity. Ella was also a skilled knitter, making clothing with care that kept her loved ones warm. Mom's artistic talents extended beyond fabric and yarn. She was skilled with a paint brush, and this was clear in her many tole-painting crafts. Mom was a phenomenal cook, and always had a wonderful meal ready for anyone who wandered through her door. Her meals brought family and friends together around the table in celebration of life's simple pleasures. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and hospitality. Mom’s spirit lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her legacy of love, creativity, and warmth will continue to inspire us for many years to come. Ella is survived by her 5 children, Nancy O'Donnell (Jason Lint), Susan Bulmer (Wayne), Sally Morgan (Everett), Barbara Christensen (Donald), William Jordan (Tammy); 12 grandchildren, Jim O'Donnell, David O'Donnell, Karri McLean, Michael McLean, Barbara Tompkins, Tina Orser (Daniel), David Scott (Melissa), Amanda Baumann (Michael), Jordan Christensen (Summer), Ryan Christensen (Katherine), William Christensen (Melissa), Wesley Jordan (Tania Sepulveda); 23 great grandchildren, Miranda O'Donnell, Seth O'Donnell, Alaina O'Donnell, Charlee O'Donnell, Mitchell McLean, Abigail McLean, Emma St. Amand, Milly McLean-Lacaille, Silas McLean-Lacaille, Meadow McLean-Lacaille, Aiden Dickinson, Landen Dickinson, Willa Dickinson, Cameron Orser, Isaiah Orser, Alyssa Orser, Logan Scott, Konnor Baumann, Ella Baumann, Greyson Christensen, Magnus Jordan-Sepulveda, Rafael Jordan-Sepulveda, and Zafira Jordan-Sepulveda; 5 great great grandchildren, Devilin McLean, Finley DeMerchant, Rylee DeMerchant, Chandler Orser and Victoria Smith; 1 brother, Dale Pye (Sheila); 2 sisters, Marie Dyer and Joyce Watson as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. 875 | Obituary: Eunice MacKinnon September 10, 2024 Eunice MacKinnon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Born in Woodstock she was the daughter of the late (Miles and Martha (Stoddard) Underhill. She was a wonderful wife mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and the best cook ever. Her kitchen was always filled with pleasant smells of homemade bread, baked beans, casseroles, baked spaghetti pie, Chinese chicken, and many many other dishes made with love. In the summer her kitchen was filled with the fragrances of pickles on the stove (Lady Ashburn, pickled carrots, beets, etc) jams and jellies. At one time we counted over 100 jars of preserves in the basement cold room. Her home was always filled with love and food. If anyone arrived for a visit, they weren’t there long before she was preparing coffee, tea and something wonderful to eat. Eunice worked in many different restaurants including The Maple leaf in Hartland, the Atlantic Inns in Jacksonville, Tim Hortons, and several others in Moncton. Her and husband Hector owned a restaurant just outside of Fredericton. People would line up in the morning to get in and enjoy their Home cooked food. They work together like a well-oiled machine. Although it was gruelling work, we never heard her complain. Even though she worked tirelessly outside the home, her children always had home cooked breakfasts, had the best lunches in the school, and clean clothes to wear. Another passion of hers were children, and she cared for many of her nieces and nephews. Eunice will be sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Hector MacKinnon, daughter Cindy Garon and her children Marc Garon, André Garon, Emmanuel Garon and Luc Garon; son Doug Patterson; daughter Judy Patterson and her children Nicholas Patterson. Patrick Patterson; great grand children Matthew Collette and Emma Collette and their mother Carrie Collette; siblings Elva, Ruth, Roy, Elizabeth, Dale. Mark and Larry. Many nieces and nephews and her Aunt Mona McHatten, who will be turning 100 September 24th. In addition to her parents Eunice was predeceased by a granddaughter Nicole in infancy, brothers Edward, Harold and Clair.
