It is with sadness that the family of Deana Lynn Martin Brown of Hampton, NB announce her death which occurred on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at her home. Born September 27, 1962 in Bath, she was the daughter of Marion (Nixon) Wargo and the late Dean Martin. She is also predeceased by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Nixon and Mr. Mrs. Aubrey Martin.
Deana graduated from CNSH and later graduated from Saint John Nursing Orderly and the Saint John School of Nursing. Deana desired to help others and she had a love for travelling abroad. Deana's smile was radiant and would light up the room.
Deana is survived by her mother, Marion; 3 sisters, Sandie Harvey (Bill), Beverly Ruff (Richard Brown) and Brenda MacDonald; 1 brother, Tim Martin (Tina); special cousins, Brenda Hurlburt; special friends, Katie Nixon, Carla Bell and Stacey Vancingle; nieces and nephews, Jamie MacDougall, Gregory Ruff, Tia Davenport, Trudy Elder, Tanesha Bourque, Tim Martin Jr., Brandon Harvey, Amy Cullins, Susie Ritchie, Derek Harvey, Kari Jane Roze, Lisa Everett, Marlee Margison, Aaron Hutton, Matthew Hutton and all their families.
Respecting Deana's wishes a family graveside service will be held in the Glassville United Cemetery. Donations made to the Glassville United Cemetery would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements. www.gibersonfuneraldirectors.

Mr. Dean Martin passed away peacefully at his home in Vancouver, BC on July 5, 2015. Born June 26, 1943 in Bath, NB, he was an extraordinary athlete, an avid sports enthusiast and a hard worker who excelled in every endeavor he pursued. As well as numerous sports awards and work accomplishments he also achieved Life Master status in Bridge. He taught us to learn, explore, think for ourselves and stand up for what we believe in. In his later years he became an avid reader and a humanitarian at the most important level, every day people striving for a better life.
He will be missed and always remembered. We love you Dad. Rest in peace and never leave our side.

WILLIAM MCKAY MARTIN
The death of William McKay
Martin occurred at his home in Bath on July 7, 1930.
He was born in Glassville, N.B. June 26, 1871, the son of Edward Douglas and Martha (McKay) Martin, who immigrated from Glasgow, Scotland, being among the first settlers of Glassville.
He lived with and helped farm the two farms his parents acquired along
with his brother Douglas. On May 7, 1900, he married Margaret Riley also
from Glasgow, Scotland. He farmed in Glassville until ill health forced his retirement. He then moved to Bath.
The funeral was held from the home of his son William Martin, Bath, conducted by the Rev. A.D. Giberson. Favourite hymns were beautifully rendered by Mrs. A.D. Giberson and daughter Ella.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife, four sons, William G., Aubrey M., Edward D. and Colin G., three daughters Hilda A., Edith M. and
Villa M. all of Bath. Mr. Martin was highly thought of and was active in community affairs.

William married Margaret REILLY on 7 May 1900 in Glassville, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. Margaret (daughter of John REILY and Mary PATERSON) was born on 7 May 1882 in 30 Princes Street, Blackfriars, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland; died on 21 Jan 1965 in Bath, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried in 1965 in United Church Cemetery, Glassville, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada. Stephen married Carrie Olive WILSON on 8 Feb 1905. Carrie was born on 19 Jul 1886 in Tobique Narrows, Victoria County, New Brunswick, Canada; died on 19 Nov 1918 in Bath, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada; was buried in 1918 in Beechwood United Baptist Cemetery, Beechwood, Carleton, New Brunswick, Canada.
