    On July 28th, 1892 at Biggar Ridge, of cancer of the stomach, Elizabeth BIGGAR w/o John BIGGAR paecefully passed away. On 30th our dear friend was laid to rest in Argyle cemetery and the solemn occasion was improved by a sermon by Rev. J. Perkins. Deceased was born at Smith Creek (Kings Co.) May 29th, 1823 and was married in 1840, the mother of twelve children, of whom seven survive her. About twenty years ago she came with her husband and children to this county and settled in what is known as Biggar Ridge. She was for many years a member of the Methodist Church.
