    The death of Leona Shirley White of Florenceville occurred on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born February 2, 1934 in Millville she was the daughter of the late Spurgeon and Pearl Marr. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Gerald, Sheldon, Minerva, Juanita, Louise and Lorne.

    Leona is survived by her 7 children, Mabel Gurncey (Harold), Allison White (Faye), Wanda Drake (Brian), Pat Archer (Ed), Joan White (Dave), Debbie White (Steve) and Tom Giberson (Deborah); 18 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Leona was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

    Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Michael Palmer will officiate. Interment will be in the Hawkins Corner Cemetery at a later date.
