  Obituary: Kimberly L. Demerchant-Brooks 1962-2025 It is with sadness that the family of Kimberly “Kim” Lee DeMerchant-Brooks, of Peel, NB, announce her death that occurred on Friday, December 26, 2025, at her home. She was born October 23, 1962, in Bath, NB. Kim was predeceased by her parents, Carol (DeMerchant) Crain and Earl Crain; Grandparents, Howard and Melissa DeMerchant; Aunts and Uncles, Patty and Charlie DeMerchant, Rose and Graydon Oakes, Wilma and Leo McCullough, Murray DeMerchant, Martha and Elwin Kinney, Lewis and Doreen DeMerchant and Ronald DeMerchant. Kim is survived by her beloved daughter, Ashley Brooks (Keeghan Forsythe); grand daughter, Lainey; companion and best friend, Darren Miller; 6 siblings, Gary Crain (Tina), James Crain, Adam Crain (Simone), Michelle Williams (Andy), Mitchell Crain (Amy) and Melissa Ogden (Tony); nieces and nephews, Travis, Nick, Chelsey, Wyatt, Miah, Mason, Addie, Carson, Lukas and Owen; several aunts and uncles, Joyce Wallace, Myrtle and Joe Boyd and Herb DeMerchant, Donna DeMerchant and many extended family members that loved her very much. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB on Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 5:00 … 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 1:00 pm from the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Broad officiating. The interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery at a later date.
