  Obituary: Brian Oakes 1950-2010 The death of Brian Leonel Oakes of Bath occurred on Sunday, October 10, 2010. Born December 1, 1950 in Bath he was the son of Morley and the late Eva (Ross) Oakes. Brian is survived by his father, Morley; 5 children, Natalie Cullins (Gary), Nalani Oakes (Travis Broad), Nathan Oakes (Ginelle Martin), Nigel Oakes (Krista Stewart) and Nicole Smith; 10 grandchildren, Reece Cullins, Wyatt, Noah and Ivory Guest, Roman Broad, Nolan, Mason Oakes, Carter McGuigan- Oakes, Delilah and Dakota Oakes; 7 siblings, Avis Doherty (Allan), Sandra Hart (Eric), Debbie Gee (Terry), Mike Oakes (Nancy), Jennifer Pitts, Troy Oakes (Karen) and Sterling Oakes and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Eva and one nephew, Luke Doherty. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville - Bristol on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 1-3 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm.
