  Obituary: Gilbert M. Hawthorne 1927-2022 Gilbert Millen Hawthorne of Stickney passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock. He was born August 4, 1927, and was the son of the late Millen and Edna Hawthorne. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Leola (Gerald) Hovey, Shirley (George) Burlock, Erma (Ralph) Phillips, Muriel Hawthorne and Ercel (Dorothy) Hawthorne. Gilbert is survived by his wife, Norma Hawthorne; children, Fred (Carlene) Hawthorne of Jacksonville, Kendall (Brenda) Hawthorne of Simonds, Elizabeth Lamont of Fredericton; grandchildren, Troy Hawthorne, Tara (Ryan Duffley) Hawthorne, Shannon (Nicole) Hawthorne, Robert (Carrie) Anslow, Nicholas (Joan) Lamont, Sara (Dean) Blakeney; 14 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A private family visitation and funeral will be held at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street Hartland, NB. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland at a later date.
