Clarence Thomas Dickinson
January 20, 1920 - December 2, 2007
Clarence Thomas Dickinson, 87, Hartland, NB, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. Born in Hartland, NB, January 20, 1920, he was the son of the late Frank and Gladys (Letson) Dickinson.
Clarence was a veteran of World War II serving in the Canadian Air Force. He was avid hunter and fisherman.
Clarence is survived by his wife Doris (Gartley) Dickinson, five children; Larry (Carol), Donna (Keith), Richard (Shirley), Harold (Lou), Marsha (Wayne), 15 grandchildren, 22 great grand children, brothers; Robert, Austin, Duane, Peter, sisters; Myrna, Patricia, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Clarence was predeceased by brothers; Stephen, Bus, Douglas, Wendell and a sister, Dorothy Kennedy.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Funeral service will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 2 PM with Rev. Michael Horseman officiating. Interment will be held in The Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made Central Carleton Nursing Home, Alzheimer Society or memorial of the donor’s choice.
