  Obituary: Mary F. Crawford 1921-2013 The death of Mary Ferne Crawford of Birch Haven Special Care Home, Lakeville and formerly of Bath occurred on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born in Lakeville on May 6, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Annie (Tompkins) McDermott. She was also predeceased by 1 daughter, Ellen Ruth; 2 grandsons, Danny and Paul; 1 sister, Pearl; 2 brothers, Raymond and Isaac and 2 sons in law, Brian and Eugene. Mary is survived by her 5 children, Lois Perkins, (Dale), Murray Crawford, Rayma Martin (Jim), Elaine McKimm and Faye Kimball (Kenneth); 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; special extended family, Mary Thomas and John Whittaker. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joseph Hopkins officiating. Interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery at a later date.
