  Obituary: Susan Kilpatrick 30-Jun-1935 - 11-Feb-2024 It is with sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Susan Kilpatrick (nee Darrah) at Hampton Terrace Care Center for Seniors, on Sunday February 11, 2024, at the age of 88. Susan loved her large family; mother of Gary Kilpatrick (Gretta), Cheryl Kilpatrick (Albert Hoffman), Grant Kilpatrick (Leslie), Judy Hussey (Donald), Paul Kilpatrick (Leanne), and Valerie Robinson (Raymond). Cherished grandmother (Granny) to thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Beloved sister of David Darrah (Joanne), Neil Darrah (Valerie), Peter Darrah (Marilyn), and Peggy Kirkbride (Wayne). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert, parents James Darrah and Betty (nee Logue), stepmother Mary (nee Greene), sister Madeline Graham (Gerald) and stepbrother Maurice Darrah. Susan lived at Hampton Terrance Care Center for 8 years and was loved by the staff and residents. Susan participated in many committees and activities, especially enjoying playing bingo. Susan’s family is very grateful for the wonderful care and love she received from all the caretakers and staff at Hampton Terrace. Visitation will be held at DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME 2241 New St, Burlington on Monday February 19, 2024, from 5 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 80 Mil Street N, Waterdown, on Tuesday February 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow with burial at Burlington Memorial Gardens.
