      Reta Frances Brown
      August 18, 1936 - April 29, 2017

      Reta Frances Brown, 80, of Bloomfield NB passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Reta was born in Charleston NB on August 18, 1936 daughter of the late Adolphus and Aletha Dewitt.

      Reta is survived by her children; Marion Geneau, Allan Brown, Carol Bradstreet (Kenny), Eldon Brown, Elaine Sparks (Darrel), Larry Brown (Patti Oakes), several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother, Paul Dewitt (Vera), nieces, nephews and cousins.

      Besides her parents, Reta was predeceased by her husband, John Franklin (Frank) Brown, sisters; Donna, Geraldine, Alice, Doris and two infant brothers.

      Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 5 PM to 8 PM. A private family service and interment will be held in Avondale Cemetery at a later date.

      As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group, Carleton County Animal Shelter, Canadian Diabetes Association or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
