  Obituary: Gertrude I. Chase 1939-2013 The death of Gertrude Irene Chase of Gregg Settlement occurred on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born May 6, 1939 in Florenceville she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Viola (Morrell) Foster. She was also predeceased by her husband , Arnold Chase; 6 siblings, Lewis, Roberta, Irene, Harold, Clifford, and Mary Elizabeth. Gertrude is survived by her 6 children, Kathy Chase (Sam Allen), Holly MacLean(Larry), Keith Chase (Dawn), Eric Chase (Norma), Wanda Foster (Blair) and Margaret Budrow (Stephen); 15 grandchildren, Bradley, Deidra, Quinn, Laura, Akayla, Ryan, Taylor, Liza, Jason, Corey, Charity, Dustin, Stephanie, Chase and Kasey; 9 great grandchildren, Hallie, Avree, Nash, Bauer, Rylynn, Kyle, Alexia, Jersey and Kevin; Special Companion of 20 years, Wallace Giggie; 2 siblings, Don Foster and Beatrice Hamilton and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 1-5 pm. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm in the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Paul Smith will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery at a later date.
