  Obituary: Neville D. Hargrove 1947-2024 Neville Dana Hargrove, born in Bath, NB on September 2, 1947 to Eileen and Percy Hargrove, passed away peacefully on August 27th, 2024, after a short battle with cancer, with his family by his side. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Carl Hargrove, Joan Broad (Garnet), Mildred Clark, and Frederick Hargrove. Neville loved his family, friends and his sidekick Ripley. Neville loved the outdoors - hunting, fishing, kayaking, biking and of course his beloved Habs. Neville was a long time member of the Hartland Lions Club, serving as President for multiple terms. Neville also served as the Mayor of Hartland in 2004. Neville was a great leader and advocate for his community. Neville will be fiercely missed by his children, grandchildren and friends. Neville is survived by his wife, Barbara Hargrove of Hartland; children, Michael Hargrove (Wendy) of Bedell, Michele Savage (Alan) of Courtice, ON, Melissa Hargrove of Woodstock; grandchildren, Alan Hargrove, Andrew Hargrove (Ashley Corey), James Savage (Jacob Pollice), Connor Savage (Natalie Windell), Thomas Savage (Jennessa Young), Julia Page, Keegan Page, Jesse Page; great grandson, Hayes Hargrove; siblings, Roma Hargrove-Harris (Don Harris), Buzz Hargrove (Denise Small), Lyle Hargrove (Sarah Moir), Cecil Hargrove (Sheila), Cynthia Blair (Wade); sister-in-law, Joan Gooding; brother-in-law, Edward Clark; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30th, 2024, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Mel Norton officiating. The interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland.
