Letson, Grace Edna - The death of Mrs. Grace E. Letson, wife of Arlie F. Letson of 5 Elgin Road, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, January 26, 1996. She was born in Fredericton a daughter of the late Annie M. (Miller) Shannon and the Late J. Lemuel Shannon. She lived in Saint John most of her life, where she attended Glenview United Church and was a member of the U.C.W. and Glenview Quilters. She was also a member of Pythian Sisters (Sunset Temple) in Moncton. She is survived besides her husband by her two sons, Robert William of Rothesay, and Richard Leigh and his wife Wanda of Saint John; her daughter, Mary Lou Booker of Saint John; her sister, Patricia (Mrs. Kenneth Paisley) of Kingston, Ontario; and her five grandchildren, Andrew Booker and his wife Angela, Kimberly Booker, Brenda (Letson) Nason and her husband Keith, Melissa Letson, and Matthew Letson of Rothesay.
Resting at the Fundy Funeral Homes, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424), from where the funeral will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Monday with service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting hours on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
