His all-time favorite sport was bowling, spending years on the men’s league, where he had many accomplishments and many trophies. He, along with his winning bowling team were inducted into the sports Wall of Fame in Woodstock N.B in 2008. He created and implemented the Blake Trophy yearly tournament. He developed youth bowling and mentored many young people through the years at the Woodstock Bowlacade.
