  Obituary: Joan E. Smith 1935-2013 Joan Ethel Smith of Perth-Andover passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on October 7, 2013. Joan was born in Tilley, NB on February 6, 1935. She was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Tressia (McQuade) Brayall. She leaves behind her special friend Oral Broad of Perth-Andover; her brother William Brayall (Laureen) of Fredericton; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Gerald Hotham; her second husband James Smith; her son David Hotham; sisters Delores Doucette and Norma Hitchcock; brothers Dana and Vaughn Brayall. Respecting Joan's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11 am at the Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Perth-Andover. Rev. Amanda Longmoore officiating. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Assistance Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
