      Mary Elizabeth Tweedie
      1932-2020

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Mary Elizabeth Tweedie (McIsaac). Having been a resident at the Central Carleton Nursing Home, Mary left us peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2020 surrounded by family.

Mary was born on June 14, 1932. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Margaret (MacPhail), brothers William (Billy) and Jack (Jackie) McIsaac.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, Nana and great grandmother, she will be forever loved and cherished by her beloved husband of 63 years Arthur, daughter Nancy Lee, sons Peter (Lisa) and Paul (Debbie), her grandchildren Matthew (Briana), Cole, and Brendan. And Her most special blessing, her great granddaughter Brielle Mary Tweedie. Mary is also survived by sister in law Lois McIsaac, as well as Ethel Tweedie, Barbara Harvey (Tweedie) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mum was devoted faithfully to her family. She was a loving and doting Nana who spoiled her grandchildren at every opportunity....Nana never said NO! She had a great love for the church, loved singing, playing and listening to music. Mum will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking....she never cooked a bad meal and you never left the table hungry!

The Family would like to express a special thank you to the Central Carleton Nursing Home and their wonderful staff for all the excellent care and attention that was provided. We will be forever grateful for their kindness.

Due to current Covid-19 restrictions the family will hold a private family service at Giberson Funeral Home in Florenceville-Bristol, on Tuesday November 17th. Interment will be in the Greenfield Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or The True North Baptist Church.

Arrangements are under the care of L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol, NB. 506-392-1115. www.gibersonfuneraldirecotrs.ca
