  Obituary: The death of Elva Ferne McKenzie formerly of Stickney occurred on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home, Hartland. Born August 26, 1931 in East Coldstream she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Eva (Wasson) Greer. She was also predeceased by her husband, Lawrence McKenzie. Elva is survived by her 2 children, Blair McKenzie (Thresa Sarty) and Nilah Lewis (Geoff); 3 grandchildren, Scott McKenzie (Victoria Frittenburg), Joshua Lewis (Sthefany) and Mariah Lewis; 3 sisters, June Greer, Ruth Clark (Allison) and Alice Davenport (Dale); 4 nieces and nephews, Audrey Wortman, Dwayne Clark, Aubrey Clark and Michael Clark. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Elva's life will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Nathan Smith will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date in the Hunter Cemetery.
