  Obituary: David R. Hemphill 1949-2025 The death of David Roy Hemphill of Knowlesville, NB occurred on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Central Carleton Nursing Home, Hartland. David was born February 5, 1949, in Hartland, NB and was the son of the late Roy and Pauline (Derrah) Hemphill. He was also predeceased by 3 siblings, Edmund, Donna and Barbara. David is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, 4 sons, Drew Hemphill (Tracy), Barry Hemphill (Cristin), Vance Hemphill and Levi Hemphill (Jessie) 8 grandchildren, Drew, Sarah, Spencer, Ethan, Tori, Dawson, Henry and Reese; 1 sister-in-law, Myrtle Hemphill; nieces, Margaret Dickenson, Elizabeth (Cliff Jones) and Victoria (Kevin Bubar) and nephew, Edward (Heather) Hemphill and many great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 4-7 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 2 pm at the Knowlesville Baptist Church, Pastors Murray Whitehouse and Carl O’Donnell will officiate. The interment will follow at a later date in the adjoining cemetery.
