Notes - Obituary:
The death of John Raymond Biggar of Upper Kent occurred on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born August 27, 1922 in Biggar Ridge he was the son of the late Florence Biggar and husband of the late Edith (Hawthorne) Biggar.
John is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Ibrahim; granddaughter, Rose Ibrahim both of Toronto, ON; one sister, Marjorie Cavanaugh of Saint John, NB.
He was predeceased by his mother, wife Edith and 1 brother, Maurice.
A memorial service will be held at the Beechwood United Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Brian Barron will officiate. Donations made to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
