  Obituary: The death of Phyllis Maxine Ruff occurred on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Lansdowne Special Care Home. Born March 11, 1931 in Killoween, NB she was the daughter of the late Alexander "Sandy" and Edith (Waugh) Giggie. She was also predeceased by her husband, Phillip Ruff; 1 daughter, Dawn Marie; 1 son, Phillip; 2 brothers, Harold, Malcolm Giggie; 1 sister, Mary Ruff. Phyllis is survived by her 7 children, Shirley Cahill (Billy), Ralph Ruff (Paulette), Tom Ruff (Nellie), Janice O'Neil (Fred), Faye Ruff (Dale Williams), Kevin Ruff (Paula) and Matthew Ruff (Anne); 17 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Norma Ruff; 6 siblings, Edna Barclay, Marilyn O'Donnell, Cheryl DeMerchant, Inez Perry, Hazen Giggie (Marilyn) and Leighton Giggie as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dwayne Broad officiating. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery.
