  Obituary: Peacefully, surrounded with the love and support of his family, Merle Swimm passed from this life on Friday, July 3, 2015. He was in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Barb Swimm. Loving father of Ralph, B.C.; Hazel Snowden (R.J.), Florida; Angela Swimm (George), Brantford and Cameron Swimm, Toronto. Beloved grandfather of Darryl (Karen-Rose), Amanda, Hunter, Colby and Lauren, Angeline, Savanna and Andrew. Forever remembered by his siblings Earl (Florence), Marjorie Hitchcock and Elsie Smith. Predeceased by his brothers Reuben, Philip, James and sisters Beulah, Mary, Hazel and Elva. Merle will be dearly missed by his extended family and many dear friends. Merle and his brother Earl co-owned Swimm Brother's Building Contractors. Much of their success came from the support and guidance of Mike Dubecki Homes. Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 8th, 2015 at 11 am at Meadowood Pentecostal Church, 163 Brant Road (Hwy 24 North), Brantford (directly across from Witteveen Meats). Interment to follow in Oakhill Cemetery.
