  Obituary: The death of Nada Doreen Richard, of Glassville, occurred on May 23, 2009 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Born on April 14, 1934 in Glassville, she was the daughter of the late James and Edna (Wiley) Petrie. Nada is survived by her best friend and companion, Claude McBrine; 4 children, Jim Richard (Claire) of New Zealand, Brian Richard of Alberta, Lance Richard (Pam) of Nova Scotia and Danica Richard ( Jay) of Virgina; Step-children, Hilton (Edwina) McBrine, Brad (Dianna) McBrine, Connie (Neville) Haines and Dusty McBrine; 14 Grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; 3 Brothers, Bill Edgell (Pat), Ralph Petrie (Eva) and Jim Petrie (Verna); 1 sister, Margaret Tilley; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and husband, Lawrence Richard. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors at 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Douglas Painter will be officiating. Interment will be in the Christ Anglican Cemetery in Glassville.
