Rev. C. Francis Anderson
Services for the Rev. C. Francis Anderson, 93, of the Alliance Home, 770 S. Hanover St., Carlisle, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Alliance Home Chapel.
He died Saturday in the home.
Born Oct. 25, 1898, in Canada, he was a son of the late John and Margaret Elliott Anderson. He was the widower of Sarah Greeley Anderson.
He was a graduate of Nyack College, Nyack, N.Y. He was a pastor with the Christian Missionary Alliance Church for 37 years, serving churches in the New England states.
Surviving are one son, the Rev. Dwight Anderson of Baltic, Conn.; two daughters, Ethel Robbins of Ducanville, Texas, and Ada Flecher of Waxhaw, N.C.; one brother, Hudson of Gaylord, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Robert B. Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery, Middlesex Township.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the chapel.
Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of arrangements.
