Notes - Obituary:
The death of Samuel “Sam” Oliver Cullins formerly of Glassville occurred on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Scott’s Special Care Home, Upper Woodstock. Born November 20, 1918 in Oakland he was the son of the late Elmer and Mamie Cullins. He was also predeceased by his wife Glenna (nee McCorquindale), 2 children, Fred and Leah, son in law, Donald Brown.
Sam is survived by his 4 children, Joan Brown, Carl Cullins (Lilly), Patricia Hitchcock (Jerry) and Raymond Cullins (Dianne); 1 daughter in law, Joanne Cullins; 14 grandchildren, Barb Corey (Devene), Daniel Brown (Cindy), David Brown (Kim), Christina Cox (David), Carl J. Cullins (Kimberly), Leah Rodriguez (John Paul), Josh Cullins (Annette), Benjiman Hitchcock, Christian and Colten Cullins, Douglas Cullins (Kristen), Sean Cullins, Jimmy Cullins and Jenny Cullins; 13 great grandchildren, Lyleah, Micah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Abigale, Noami, Josiah, Sarah, Rachel (Sam Heslton), MacKenzie, Lesley, Samanatha and Aaron; 1 great great grandson, Mason; 1 brother, Richard Cullins (Cheryl).
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 2:30 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Carroll Carter will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunter Cemetery.
