Notes - Obituary:
Claude McIntosh passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Tuesday, January 16th, 2007 with his wife and son by his side. Claude was born in October 2, 1922 in Woodstock, NB. He was the son of the late Ernest and Mary Jane (Lomas) McIntosh.
Claude was a WWII War Veteran and was a fifty-year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 15 He enjoyed hunting, fishing and tailoring. He attended Capital Community Church of Fredericton for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 58 years; one son, Roland and his wife Peggy of Moncton, NB two grandsons; Jeremy his wife Krista of Dieppe and Scott of Bathurst, and two great grandchildren, Brayden and Keyra McIntosh; brothers, Earl, Carl and Keith; sister, Jackie several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, three brothers, Fred, Frank Kenneth; sisters, Audrey and Madeline.
Visitation will be held at McAdam’s Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, January 19th, 2007 from
2 - 4 and 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 15 will hold a tribute service on Friday at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held at the United Pentecostal Church Downing Street, Fredericton on Saturday, January 20th, 2007 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Raymond Woodworth will officiate. Interment will be in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Cemetery, Minto at a later date. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. (458-9170)
